About Mzima Networks
Mzima Networks is an operating unit of Mzima Corporation N.A., founded in California in 2001 by a team of seasoned industry executives and network engineers. Our operating units come from several smaller companies that we have acquired, some of which have been in operation since 1996. Mzima has been a profitable company from the day it was founded.
From our humble beginnings as a small but quickly-growing network service provider in Southern California, Mzima has extended its network reach across North America, into Europe and soon Asia. As we have expanded throughout the country and into Europe, our rate of growth has only increased. We offer a diverse set of products and services, aimed not only at Internet content providers but at the enterprise market deploying network or systems infrastructure.
Our skilled team of network engineers come from a history of building the largest Tier 1 backbones in existence today.
Throughout our history, Mzima has remained focused on delivering its unique network services approach to customers throughout the world, and is now the leading provider of mission-critical data and network services for enterprise IT infrastructure deployments that require the service level that only Mzima can provide.

The Mzima vision is based around the meaning of our company's name: alive.
We believe that the internet is more than an assortment of routers and servers, rather that people stand behind the companies they represent. As such, we aim to provide a level of service equal to that of what we'd provide to ourselves.
